Hi @StarryEyed are you ok? would you like to share no pressure. I have just read "I'm so sorry to be screaming so loudly today". "My life is falling apart. Again"
We are here for you as you are for others.
Please take care of yourself.

I appreciate your reply starryEyed, but I really must read the post's properly before I leap in. I don't mind people getting upet with me to be honest, it's water off a ducks back. But it seems an habit just lately reading the post's wrongly and replying wrongly. The break will do me good, I can get some much needed painting done lol..Thanks for not going off on one anyway🙂❤️

As someone who suffers - yes really I do suffer - from being overweight I empathise how my overflowing of seats impacts others. Though I'm not as bad as described. But I take 4 drugs that put on weight. Something to balance against as it is very difficult to exercise too as my weight impacts my lungs etc. Please think about our struggles. Most of us don't want to be the weight we are and find it embarrassing to overflow. And a lot of us are in pain as we sit there too - weight on joints and backs really hurts. I know when I go out on my electric scooter that there will be people thinking to themselves, - 'if only she got up and walked she'd lose some of that weight'. But I do walk - when I can, if the pain isn't too bad, and….

May I make a suggestion? For me, it would have sounded better if you would have done one of two things:
1. Put it as a question. Example, "I'm not sure if you were meaning to be offensive, because that's how it sounds to me. Was that your intention?"
2. Or turn the focus on you. Example "In my experience, people who say things like you just did are body shaming other people. This is my experience...."
It's just a suggestion. But who am I to say? I'm getting nowhere with communicating.

@SwiftFox, what I was trying to show (in case it's again not obvious) is maybe you can reply without having already made a conclusion about what was 'really meant' in the post you're replying to.

Sometimes it's good to take a break if you're finding things overwhelming.

Having mobility issues and walking with a stick. I sat in the front seat of the bus.this old bloke got in with a cap. And put his push along walker in the space where prams go and sat by me. He made me so uncomfortable and was pushing himself against me. Made leary remark. I.was terrified because as a child I was abused by a elderly relative who wore a cap and looked similar. This upset me all day

We need large fines for those who, in pursuit of profit, install small chairs without taking into account the diversity of people's figures.
