Fancy your chances on BBC's The Traitors! Are you to be trusted, or a traitor?!
Studio Lambert are looking for a diverse range of people to take part in the next series of the BBC1 multi-award-winning reality competition series The Traitors.
The Traitors is a competition series built on strategy, suspicion and deception, filmed in the Scottish Highlands. A team of contestants will compete in a series of missions, the more missions they win, the bigger the prize pot.
However, amongst the players lie the ‘Traitors.’ The Traitors will meet in secret and decide who to eliminate from their fellow players known as the ‘Faithful.’ The aim for the Traitors is to stay undetected until the end, the aim for the Faithful is to vote out and ‘banish’ all the Traitors before the game ends. Throughout the series, there will be twists, turns, rigorous challenges, shocks and surprises for the contestants.

I haven't watched this programme, but isn't it something like "The Chrystal Maze". Surely the DWP would be very interested in disabled people displaying such physical ability?

Hi @ColonelBlink, there's definitely physical activity involved looking at the trailer etc but I'd like to think that things would be accessible and inclusive given they're reaching out to our community.
The DWP shouldn't penalise you for being on a show. It would only be if the activities etc contradicted your award. Like with anything, I guess.
Understandably it might not be appropriate for everyone, however for those that are able to and want to, It'd be nice to see more of the community represented on television. ☺️

Well done Jake, but perhaps he isn't claiming state benefits? The article mentions he played for the England CP football team.
I couldn't apply for this challenge, but I still say any that do, they need to be mindful what they may or may not have told the DWP about their disabilities.

I've never watched it.
And definitely no saint, but I find a programme based on treachery and deceit not to my way of thinking for entertainment … maybe I see the world too literally … ?

The only reality TV I watch is last one laughing. I think you'd like that @Santosha12. Comedians in a room for 6 hours trying to make each other laugh. Bob Mortimer is absolutely hilarious with his songs - Bob Mortimer's Hilarious Song For Daisy May Cooper | Last One Laughing.

Bob Mortimer is one of my favourites. Would love him to be on celebrity Traitors one year.
Last One Laughing is brilliant as well. They can take a bit to warm up, but at 6 episodes they're worth the watch.
I can't believe Big Brother is still going on, to be honest. I don't think I've watched an episode of it in the last 25 years. But it must be doing something right!

I once applied for Blind Date back when the late Paul O'Grady did it, but Dad wouldn't let me go to the audition even though it was only at the Novotel in Town.
