Not received UC or Housing Benefits

in Universal Credit (UC)

This is on behalf of a friend so looking for advice please.

Friend hasn't received Housing Benefit again for the 2nd month in a row. Also never got the UC this month. Journal said they would be receiving them. Left a note in the journal but nothing back. How to escalate this as a matter of urgency. Do have a rent guarantor. Tenancy agreement is up for renewal August so this could jepordise this maybe, friend worried about being made homeless cos of this!!

Friend did have bank account looked at to check over but nothing mentioned about anything wrong or even ok for that matter. Friend does have slight mental health issues and this is definitely not helping the matter.

    Housing benefit is not part of UC and applies in very limited situations. Do you mean the housing element?

    If so, has your friend checked their journal? That's a requirement of UC. If there's a to-do on there relating to money, this can block payments.

    Or if it's just UC being ****, send a message titled "URGENT" under Payments
