    It has been one of those days, yet again not much sleep 🥱 If I take my meds around 8pm as scheduled, then my body clock will be given a knock on the head by the meds, but then come three or four in the morning I am wide awake like I have had 12 hours sleep and a mug of strong coffee. To help me sleep I have started deploying an old routine I had as a Support Worker doing sleep ins, I always fell asleep with the local radio on with a sleep timer. Now I put a personalised radio station on my Apple Music and then set a timer on my phone. I have kicked myself again as I have had a McD’s Breakfast 😡

    I have spent the afternoon organising updating my Access Card & Rail Card to reflect my recent name change. I think the evening will be spent watching a film and then running the white flag up and surrendering myself to another hot and humid night.

    It's been terrible at night especially, hasn't it. I've had a cold wet flannel. That might help @SheffieldMan1976

    Good morning all!

    Absolutely boiling here today already😨

    My dog's fed up too @Bluebell21 . He's not due a groom until next week so he has lots of fur on him atm too so I feel really sorry for him! Have you tried any of the cooling products with Sam like the ice collars etc?

    Is it a competition or a friendly game @luvpink?

    I have tried several cooling things for Sam he hates them. Unfortunately he will not wear a collar, if I put one on him he will not move just sits and tries to get it off and gets very upset. @Mary_Scope At the moment he is in the garden under a bush.

    You don't need completely unheated water, lukewarm is fine. I had a lukewarm shower before my dental appointment this afternoon, and it was very refreshing. I knew a lass who liked to lie in a bath of cold water, maybe you'll be into that too, why not give it a try?

    They're not for everyone i'm sure, but it would certainly solve your overheating problem.
