How is your day going?

Aw bless him @Bluebell21, it sounds like you have tried different things to try to help him, I hope he is coping okay? At least he is cool under the bush๐

Had a Doctor's appointment this morning, fortunately my feet aren't infected, I just have to have Steroids twice a day for a short period.
Otherwise I'm bored and hungry.

That's good news @SheffieldMan1976, hopefully it'll clear up very quickly. ๐
What time is tea there?

They'll be doing it around now but I'm watching The Chase ๐

You don't need completely unheated water, lukewarm is fine. I had a lukewarm shower before my dental appointment this afternoon, and it was very refreshing. I knew a lass who liked to lie in a bath of cold water, maybe you'll be into that too, why not give it a try?

Cold bath? Are you avin' a laugh?
0 -
They're not for everyone i'm sure, but it would certainly solve your overheating problem.
0 -
Yeah because I'd probably die of the shock of the cold bath, and I'm not kidding.

Showers are the best, baths waste water. If they start water rationing because of the heat, there'll be no baths.
0 -
I would say shower too, it doesn't have to be completely unheated water.

Had mine on the lowest one today, nearly freezing cold. Absolutely brilliant. Funnily enough it's quite cool out there while I was watering the gardening, suppose that will go with the baths if they ban hosepipes etc

You can't beat a cold shower to feel refreshed. I have a properly cold one at least once a week, and feel so awake afterwards.

I'm not long in with Gus, and i certainly don't feel like a cold shower! 15C now, with a haar (Sea fog, not the Norwegian synth pop band). ๐

@ChrisR777 ๐
I bet Gus had a great time! At the grand old age of 40, I had my first experience of actual sea fog this year. I was walking on a beach and oh, my, goodness, I'd never seen anything like it. I couldn't see anything in any direction and it came on so fast. Are you close to the ocean?
It's still 25 here and the sun has been in for a while. Do you run into many people on your trips out with Gus?

I live on the east coast, so it's the North Sea here.I avoid people with Gus, as he is dog aggressive, one of the reasons I usually go out after 22:00, when he can get off his lead. I was out early tonight because of the forecasted rain, and we actually only did a 3 mile lead walk.
It won't do him any harm, he was huffing and puffing as it was. Staffs don't do well in the heat.

Hi the bowls was an "umbrella" and later on a competition.
I had a good day out enjoying the sunshine.
I'm looking forward to the rugby tommorow during the day and the England football match tommorow night.
Good night everyone.

Good morning everyone. Hot and sunny but we have a breeze today so a bit cooler.
Enjoy your day whatever you do.
Take care.

I don't know much about dogs but 3 miles seems plenty anyway! He sounds very loved and very spoiled by you. Did it rain in the end? We're expecting storms again at the end of next week, until then it's hot, hot, hot. With a hosepipe ban thrown in for extra fun!
Enjoy the rugby @luvpink, who is playing? I don't follow rugby at all I'm afraid. I'll be watching the England quarter final tonight! ๐ค
@Amberpearl keep it clean with cool water and try not to rub, no matter how itchy. Is it definitely conjunctivitis? My eyes sometimes get sore and sticky with hayfever. May be worth popping to a pharmacy if you have one near, they can usually help. I would take 21 degrees, it's 26 here already ๐ซ
