    I'm not usually one for conspiracies but I do think money talks and there has been a lot of very suspect decisions in favour of Argentina during their last two matches. For two professional teams to speak publicly already about how they felt their matches against them were fixed says England are going to struggle…

    Well…that was an intense watch Saturday, wasn't it! 😅 Really pleased they pulled it off though. Extremely nervous for the Argentina match but the boys continue to pull it out of the bag, even when it looks impossible!

    Just read about Thomas Tucel's interview after the game and he wasn't best pleased despite the lads winning. He said they were sloppy at times and I agree with him there. They need to sharpen up if they want to have a chance of beating Argentina. No room for sloppiness cos the Argies will punish them. Messi won't hang about.

    I did too. Their momentum seemed to slip a lot but I can't imagine what the humidity and heat was like for them. I found myself jumping about and shouting at the TV at times though when they slowed. 😅😂

    Was a bit worried though, that the comments and team players responses might cause some tension in team. I really hope not as their closeness, I think gives them such a passionate advantage @Johnboy412000

    I've just heard this comment about the upcoming semi finals, which I think sums up how I am feeling about the next 2 days:

    Well one way or another England have 2 more matches to play. Win tomrorow it's off to the final on Sunday night. Lose and it's runner up match on Saturday night.

    I wish the Press would shut up saying the England game may be delayed tomorrow night. If it is it's tough. They said that about the Norway match and it went ahead as planned at the usual time.

    I am going to predict France will win tonight against Spain. At least it is on at a decent time.

    Brilliant. Exactly how I feel too! I keep trying to stop myself from dreaming that an England win is possible, because it probably isn't. But we can win two games, right? Maybe? 😀

    Afternoon all!

    Tonight is the first of our semi-finals and it might end up being an interesting one with last successive World Cup finalists France facing off against the current European champions in Spain.

    8pm (BST) France (@wrighty08) v Spain (@Scooby222 @ripple)

    Who do we think's making it to the final?

    I think I'm hoping for a Spain win because I don't reckon England have a chance against France should both teams make it to the final, but France have been absolutely lethal when it's mattered, so that might be a tall order for Spain.

    Regardless of who does or doesn't win, I hope it's a great game that's resolved inside 90 minutes, I'm not sure I can stay awake for extra time and penalties.

    Let's go for France 3 - 2 Spain.

    Oh lord, this is getting ever more difficult to predict....

    I think I am going to go with predicting a win for Spain, because

    1. It is my team in the Sweepstake!
    2. It is the team I predicted would get through to the final before the world Cup even started (I have no idea why... 😊)
    3. If France win, I think England are toast even if they do beat Argentina.

    To be clear, I think France should win - but I am going to predict Spain to win anyway. Eeek! 🙊

    Hello :) I think Spain will win tonight. I also think that either way, whoever wins tonight will win the World Cup. Both of these tonight would beat Argentina and England
