Keeping busy and finding work

hey everyone! I’ve not posted in a long time.

hope everyone is well.

I can not complain about my life at all. My family and friends are so supportive and say I can achieve anything that I want… it’s a nice little support group in that we are all here for one another and I love that!

Sometimes I find it difficult to motivate myself and do something productive with my time. I think everyone goes through this.

I’m signed up a modelling agency and was lucky enough to be in the Scope don’t hold back video in which I I’m very proud to be a part of! I’ve done other things since then but I’m trying to find something more permanent I guess.

does anyone else feel like they are in the same boat?

P.S I saw My Chemical Romance at Wembley and Iron Maiden at Knebworth last week so if that’s not a convocation starter… I don’t know what is haha!

Hi @AlexRobson and welcome back! That's so cool that you were in our video. Did you enjoy it?

The job market is difficult at the moment so I'm sure there'll be others who understand what you're going through. What kind of work are you looking for? We have a service that could help you https://www.scope.org.uk/employment-services/support-to-work

How were the concerts? I bet the energy was amazing.

Thanks @Rachel_Scope for the welcome back! I know right… all of 2 seconds and like 2 years ago haha. But I’m still proud of it. When I was growing up I never saw anybody like me so now I feel like I have to represent and be kind of a role model for people like me if that makes sense?

honestly… I’d do anything if it meant I could make I bit of money for I holiday haha (more like pay the bills) joking aside I’m going to have a look at the support to work page thanks.

Both gigs were incredible!! I saw My Chemical Romance when they did the black parade originally 20 years ago! It was great to relive my childhood. Iron maiden are always a fantastic band to see live.

I think role models are really important so good on you! I hope Support to Work can help you, let us know if it's something you go ahead with.

I'm not a fan of either of those bands, however, I can imagine the energy is crazy! Same with Taylor Swift. I'm not a big fan but I think the crowd energy would be amazing to experience.
