How is it the afternoon already? It's cooler and a bit drizzly here today which is a nice relief.
Yes I get that heavy feeling sometimes @Amberpearl. Do you have it often?

afternoon all, been a quiet day so far. Bit of fodder this morning. Been awake since 2am, ended up while being awake having to shut my windows due to the new neighbour smoking cannabis. Currently keeping a Cannabis Diary on the phone as it is impacts my breathing and quality of life. Been doing some HR work, spoken to ESA & PIP about swapping my new name over, also spoke to the home insurance company about making the payment for the last two that were missed, then get an email saying there cancelling the policy next week 🙄 still having an argument with Post Office Citizen Card about my Deed Poll, as they are refusing to accept it as one of my Witnesses has a work address (Optician) and as per the rules and regs, they want it to be a home address 😤 I’ll just wait until I have ordered a new passport, that will shut them up. Updated all the symbols and requirements on my Access Card as well. Now just got a text about an appointment with UC, got an hour round bus ride and a ten minute walk each way just for a 20 minute appointment. Into town tomorrow to do more HR at the Library.

That's a good idea to keep a diary @Rag_793. Are you going to make a complaint soon? The HR work sounds very exhausting! I hope you're able to get it sorted out. Are you feeling ok about the UC appointment?

Hi Rachel,
It is exhausting when you bang your head against a brick wall with some organisations. I am going into the Library to print off a Letter and Utility Bill alongside photocopying my Deed Poll for ESA & PIP. I have been told by PIP that I can go into the Job Centre - thankfully in the same building as I am tomorrow and get them to stamp the copies as authentic copies of my deed poll. Which will save me sending the real copy.0 -
Good night everyone.

Enjoy your day whatever you do.

Good morning all!
Hope you're all okay! It's definitely cooler today but still in the high 20s.
Hope you enjoy your gardening @Bluebell21!
That sounds lovely @luvpink, are you going out for lunch?
How are you legs feeling today @Amberpearl?1 -
No I'm not going out for lunch.
I'm going to a social club where my friends play bingo and I just have a drink.
I'm going to nip down the bowling club to see if anyone's playing there today and maybe have a drink in my local pub l, on the terrace overlooking the sea.

Sounds like a lovely day @luvpink, have the tourists started coming down or are things still a bit quieter at the moment?

I had a face to face appointment in the Job centre about my claim for UC. My Mental Health Support worker was with me. The JC bloke mentioned commitments and I butted in I snapped hold it right there you are saying commitments let me tell you you can stop right now If you think I'm gunna look for work. I gave up work and took early retirement if I wanted to work I'd have carried on with my Job. Thankfully my support worker calmed me down and the JC bloke explained that he didn't mean look for for work and instead focus on things that would help me with my Autism like clubs etc things that would get me circulating in public again sort of thing. I can't remember off hand now what he called this support programe. I appologised to the guy afterwards. There is no way on this earth I'm going to work again. I've done 48 years isn't that enough. Anyway we left and went to my support workers base and she helped me fill an online form in for UC and on 27th July I have a teams meeting with the JC. Then later in the day my support worker is going to come and help me to fill a claim in for PIP. UC will last until I start drawing State Pension next March. PIP carries on after that I think. Anyway I'm seeing my GP on 28th July for another Fit Note.

Hi @Johnboy412000 you seem to have had a busy stressful day and with it being so warm as well it must have been difficult for you.
I hope you application for UC is successful. Fingers crossed you also manage to complete your PIP application on the 27 July.
Hopefully you will be able to relax this evening.
Take care.
