How is your day going?

I had a face to face appointment in the Job centre about my claim for UC. My Mental Health Support worker was with me. The JC bloke mentioned commitments and I butted in I snapped hold it right there you are saying commitments let me tell you you can stop right now If you think I'm gunna look for work. I gave up work and took early retirement if I wanted to work I'd have carried on with my Job. Thankfully my support worker calmed me down and the JC bloke explained that he didn't mean look for for work and instead focus on things that would help me with my Autism like clubs etc things that would get me circulating in public again sort of thing. I can't remember off hand now what he called this support programe. I appologised to the guy afterwards. There is no way on this earth I'm going to work again. I've done 48 years isn't that enough. Anyway we left and went to my support workers base and she helped me fill an online form in for UC and on 27th July I have a teams meeting with the JC. Then later in the day my support worker is going to come and help me to fill a claim in for PIP. UC will last until I start drawing State Pension next March. PIP carries on after that I think. Anyway I'm seeing my GP on 28th July for another Fit Note.

Hi @Johnboy412000 you seem to have had a busy stressful day and with it being so warm as well it must have been difficult for you.
I hope you application for UC is successful. Fingers crossed you also manage to complete your PIP application on the 27 July.
Hopefully you will be able to relax this evening.
Take care.

Thank you. What I can't understand is a payment went in to my bank from the UC 2 days ago. Another one should follow in August. It's not much but every little helps it will pay about 4 month's electricity direct debits. Hopefully I'll be awarded pip as well because I'm not fit for work and the next fit note should prove it.

My Olympus compact camera isnโt the best for this kind of thing, but I took it out this evening when I went out with Gus.

The tourists are here all year round but since Easter we have been overwhelmed with the amount of them.

Good afternoon.
Its another lovely sunny day here.
I'm going to visit a friend in hospital this afternoon and then get some grocery shopping.
I'm exhausted from lack of sleep.
I hope you're having the best day you can.

Gus saw an elderly pony and horse, he hasn't seen them for several years.
He doesn't mind the sniffing, but draws the line at being licked. They kept licking my scooter too.

Just waiting for my Nieces hubby to arrive and put the finishing touches to the painting. I got Morrisons delivering a few bits and bats between 11am and 12pm. Then just chill for the rest of the day and tomorrow I can run round with the Hoover. I'll be watching the England v France game tonight.

Morning all,
I woke up to notification that my food shopping delivery has been cancelled due to staff shortage, so it's an empty-cupboard sort of day.
Then spent a while hanging three loads of washing outside for it to start to rain 20 minutes later. ๐
Not the best start to my day, but the weather is slightly cooler so I'm happy and hopeful things are looking up!

You have some amazing views @ChrisR777, do you have to travel far to get there?
That sounds like a good day to me @Johnboy412000. What is your niece's husband painting?
