    Why are some people getting extensions and other not? Mine is for 4 years 2027. but my original letter says the will review me from October this year! Ive since become a pensioner and I'm 68 .

    I got an old just now opened letter extended by 2 years to 2031 from 2029. Exactly 2 years extension, my online letter still says 2029.

    This is a good shout, my 4 year award is now 6 years.

    My pip review was supposed to have been 2027, then had a letter changing it to April 2027, but had to update my circumstances, so I've had to request a review, so just waiting on the update from that review now, they received my letter on the 7th of this month, and was sent off on the 3rd, had the text saying pip review form received, so just the waiting game again now

    Got my letter a few weeks ago and it's been extended by 6 years 😮

    Needless to say it was a very welcome surprise!

    Hi @Rosie_Scope I had the next text message exactly a month later on the 7th to say it's with the health assessment advisory service, it will be 3 week's Monday from that text, so I assume if I'm correct, it will end up being another month, that seems to be the pattern for most posts on here, that they contact every month. But who knows, I'm so stressed with it all, it's the waiting and not knowing anything is the worst part, would rather it's done asap so I can move past it. The thing with mine was I was on standard rate, which I've known for the last few year's I shouldn't have been, I just had no fight in me to even go through this process of bothering with it all because it really does test your limits. Fingers crossed for not just me everyone that is suffering get the answers they need asap

    It's really challenging @Manicman81. The waiting is awful. I hope that at some point in the future this kind of thing becomes much easier in some way. It's so much to take on when you're already dealing with your day-to-day conditions. Best of luck!
