What alcohol are you drinking right now?

These two (centre right of your first pic) are authentic Trappist beers, too

I know, right?! Very expensive. Lucky I had already had breakfast so I decided to go light. But it was awesome. We just ended up having a coffee each, splitting a sparkling water and splitting the bruscetta. The total was still β¬18.40! But check out the bruscetta!!!

The bruschetta looks appetising, I couldn't say no to that, not unless there is any meat on it.
Was the lemonade just in a can? It was dearer than beer for goodness sake.

@66Mustang wow what a great cultural education I'm getting in this thread!! I'll definitely pick those up. I'm only having a max of one drink every two or three days to prevent becoming addicted and to be gentle with my GI tract. So, like the monks, I'll make that one drink count. π

I don't know. That's a good question. It could be made from fresh lemons or it's a high-end brand. I'll ask next time and let you know. I don't usually get much there, just something light and soak up the fabulous vibe. Everything is perfect. Here's their website so you see what I mean....
P S. No meat on the bruscetta

Lol, I was staring at it for ages, seeing if I could spot any meat.

I've knocked the alcohol on the head for the time being. But I've been drinking loads of non-alcoholic Heineken. I am six weeks sober.

Congratulations @Heartman. Luckily I don't like the buzz off alcohol, so it's not a temptation. But I know all I need to do is drink enough of it and I'll get addicted, whether I like it or not.
Today I bought some nice non-alcoholic beers. My sister is a recovering alcoholic and when she visits, she drinks a nonalcoholic beer that I love. So I picked that up. Maybe we can break the rules and also post nonalcoholic copies of alcohol drinks? It's up to others too, of course. I vote yes.
So today I tried this whisky-infused beer that just knocked me on my ass with its buzz. It's 11.7% alcohol!!! I hadn't noticed. It was absolutely to die for for many reasons. I didn't know I could like dark beers. It was really loud in flavour with a distinct whisky background, and the aftertaste lasted for a really long time. It was creamy. The foam was thick, which I really like. This is from the international products store I went to and I already posted pics here of this particular beer. The shopkeeper told me it is a very popular beer. I see why. This beer glass is one of two glasses I have like this.

StarryEyed, go for it, everyone can talk about whatever they want in the topic. I've seen plenty of non alcoholic beers but never tried one myself.
The whisky infused beer sounds and looks awesome, love the glass too, I could imagine seeing something like that in some old dusty castle. I'll pick up those wheat beers tomorrow and post a pic of them here.

Great that you'll change the topic to include copycats, @Ross1975 ! That's 8m the spirit of this all-inclusive forum. π
Oh, I'm excited to see what you pick up! Yay! Next week I'll head back to the store to pick up more 'supplies'. π
The glass is from a secondhand store, so it could well have been in a castle. There is one nearby, actually π

StarryEyed, cool! Is it an empty castle? If you ever take any photos of it I'd love to see them.

Smirnoff ICE original.

What a fantastic question.Havent had a drink in years and perhaps this is what is missing.Tommorrow I shall go and buy a bottle of Rose and some baileys

I've picked up the wheat beers, I think these are all of the wheat beers that were available in the shop. They're all average strength at around 5% each.

@Jane315STARX ππΌπ Love Bailey's! Enjoy! I'm stuck inside a lot especially in summer, so this is a nice little summer hobby so I don't feel so hard done by. It's really helping.
@Ross1975 the castle is nothing much as far as castles go, but the views are awesome. So I'll post the website. It's Gibralfaro Castle. There are lots of great pics on Google images that are way better than mine.
And this is what I tried tonight. It's nonalcoholic Radler beer made by Heineken company. I really liked it because it is very light and lemony and fresh tasting. The only downside is it's a little too sweet for my liking. Maybe next time I'll mix it with sugar-free lemon pop. Do you recognise the glass? π

I'm drooling thinking about the first two (I tried the third already, as posted). Great choice! I'll pick them up next week, when the fair is (finally) over. π I look forward to your review. Yay! π€ΈπΌββοΈ

I went onto the website and the castle looks like a really nice place. It's very different looking from English castles. The Radler beer looks great too, and yes I recognise the glass. π It's unusual as the Coca Cola logo is in yellow.
I've had the Erdinger Dunkel now, it's fairly good, I think it's a darker version of the one next to it. I had it with a Lamb Rogan Josh curry which went well with it.

Omg that looks amazing, @Ross1975 !!! I would be absolutely stuffed. Half a litre of beer is a massive amount for me, even without food. So I usually drink it by itself, or with something tiny so it's not hard on my tummy. Maybe crackers or the like.
My favourite things about the castle are: The affordable prices, the views, taking pics of the views, sharing pics of the views, the outdoor cafΓ© in the castle, and the forest around the castle. I used to go a lot, but since my feet gave out on me I can't figure out how to make it work, so rarely go.

P.S. @Ross1975 I don't think you really recognise the Coke glass. Where do you recognise it from?
0 -
StarryEyed, I didn't think you meant that particular glass, I thought it was just a figure of speech, like 'do you recognise this?' as in it's a Coca Cola glass and you know I'm into them and have some myself.
As for that particular glass I don't think I have ever seen it before, in the past you did post some pics of glasses and I'm sure one of them was a Coca Cola glass with snowflakes on but I think it may have been a bit different, I think maybe the graphics were in white rather than yellow.
