Oooh, flowers sounds intriguing… and if we cannot come up with that in a name, perhaps on the cover? Ah, it seems we've got plenty to choose from:

Reading is my salvation… I read everything I can. Was dreadful at school and now I can't get enough…. I love mysteries too. Just picked up "Silence of the Grave" A Reykjavik Murder Mystery… by Arnaldur Indridason… it's in English I'll let you know how it goes. Last one of his was amazing.

I have just got a new book - The Secrets of Flowers by Sally Page. Is a novel about a grieving woman who rediscovers herself by uncovering the lost story of the girl who arranged flowers on the Titanic.
I have read other books by this author.
I would be interested in a book club if this could be arranged.

Yay for having you as a fellow book club member @Bluebell21 And what a lovely profile pic you've got :)
And this is really cool, you bringing up this book as I've been thinking about it for two days, but couldn't come up with the title! Yup, I think she writes marvelous books.

Thank you @SmellyBin I am looking forward to being a book club member.
I think it would be lovely if some of us managed to read the same books and were able to discuss them.

The Sopranos Family Cookbook. It's pretty good, you've got the characters talking about stuff in there and recipes to try out so you can eat like one of the Sopranos.

It just occurred to me that we could've started the book club with books about books or about book clubs :) Ah well, perhaps another time, theme, month…

Anyone else with suggestions or wanting to be part of the book club?

Perhaps if a new thread is started for the book club other members will see and join in.
As it was your suggestion would you like to suggest the first book. Are we going with the theme books about books or book clubs?
Take care.

Don't you already have plenty of books?

I think a lot of people will agree that you can never have too many books 😉
Especially when they're only 50p. That's a bargain @DancingFlame! Does she manage to read them all?

Sorry for disappearing. I've had a few rough days. I'm glad the book club is getting set up 🙂
