Hi @nickh. I'm glad they have your form and evidence. It may be a bit of a wait before you hear anything. How are you feeling about it?

This is good to hear @nickh, hopefully you won't be waiting too long now for the outcome😊

It's very normal to worry @nickh. It's a difficult time because of the uncertainty. It's good that you have sent in that evidence, that will help. Is there something you enjoy doing that you could do to try and distract your mind?

It may be a while before you hear anything @nickh. You have done all you can for now by providing detailed answers and evidence. Are you able to focus on something else while you wait?

Hi I've received a telephone assessment in November now I presumed it would be a paper-based assessment with my evidence been classed as gold to add the mobility award to my enhanced daily living award as I've sent in letters from my ortherpedic surgeon stating that I can walk approx 20 metres any disability alongside my toe fusion an revised toe fusion are a now a major factor in my every day life an I've also sent in 3 hospital discharge letters stating what my problems were an details of my serious infections I've had an the ortherpedic surgeon letter stating that it is a long an prolonged recovery as there is no certainty of the time frame an that my walking gait an the revision toe fusion is permanent an unreversable and gait has changed completely

I'm glad you've got an assessment date now @nickh. How comfortable are you with speaking on the phone? What's your main worry?

The letter I've sent in is from my orthopedic surgeon an apparently it's classed as pure gold with her facts about my disability an that I can only walk approx 20 metres an the my right toe fusion and revised toe fusion is permanent an unreverse able

Can you have copies of your evidence in front of you? Maybe highlight the most important things? They shouldn't expect you to know everything about your condition, it's how it affects you on a daily basis. How about writing some notes about how it affects you?

I've copied the statement it says to say that my consultant stated that I can only walk approx 20 metres due to my cerebal palsyy worsening an my recent toe fusion an revised fusion

This is roughly what I want to say an truthful but just worried "As my consultant Miss Thomson states in her letter, my walking capacity is strictly limited to approximately 20 metres inside my house. Because of my right-sided cerebral palsy and my revised toe fusion, my balance is completely gone, and I am a servere fall risk

That's good that you have that. They may focus more on questions about how you move around day to day. Do you think you'd be ok with those types of questions?

As per my orthopedic surgeon letter I can only walk approx
20 meters as the pain an muscle tightness an Spasticiry gets worse an arm
tighten. When I move around my house I have to move with using the wall as my
posture an balance is non existant due to my cerebal palsy worsening and my
right foot is non flexible due to my toe fusion in Jan an after 2 serious
staporihies infection an a revised toe fusion operation in August.

"I was on Pregabalin 75mg and Amitriptyline 50mg before
to manage my cerebral palsy, but since my infection and revised toe surgery,
the pain is much worse. The side effects also make me dizzy, meaning I can no
    longer walk reliably or safely."

Hopefully I don't need to add much more I thought my evidence was top tier with the hospital letters and my orthopedic surgeon letter
