Quiet start to the day, sorted some rubbish out and took the rollator down to its new home next to the front door. The X-Frame certainly works better for storage, a marked difference on the NHS Jobby. I have put a luggage tag on the beast with name, address and phone number, may help when I am in hospital. Going to take if for a spin tomorrow, when I go to the cinema.

Have a good day everyone, take care of yourself 😊

Social Media is the devils work, I used to have Facebook & Twitter. But when I my ex walked away in 2023, I noticed a very different side to it. I viewed it from a different perspective and took the decision to delete all my social media accounts for good. If I do go on Social Media it makes me anxious and affects my mental health. I now live a quiet life away from prying eyes and judgement.

    Good morning all!

A bit warmer here today and I think its going to reach 20 degrees tomorrow!

I'm going to watch Practical Magic 2 in the cinema with my friend tomorrow @Bluebell21. I haven't seen the first one so I hope I'll understand the sequel😄 Do you have any weekend plans?

What are you seeing in the cinema @Rag_793?

Yeah @Amberpearl, it's best to believe official sources such as the Government announcements etc rather than people on facebook as a lot of it is scaremongering and used for views.

How are you doing today @complex_being?

I hope you enjoy your trip to the cinema. Fingers crossed you understand the sequel.

We are having a family get together on Sunday at my brothers as we have a few birthdays in September and early October. Looking forward to that.

That sounds good @Rag_793! How do you feel about it? Will you be able to choose?

Greetings one and all. I'm back from a 2 day stay in Blackpool. Been a lovely stay and I sure did get plenty exercise walking around the place seeing what was on offer etc. Yesterday I jumped on a tram and jumped off at the Tower as it was too full and didn't wanna stand all way to Fleetwood. Got the bus which took 1 hour and 40 mins but it wasn't full and I got to see some different parts of Lancashire from the top deck. Weather was breezy yesterday but ok at least until 2:30pm when it started to drizzle. Lytham bus got to Blackpool and it started raining heavy. Came fine at Lytham. Got back to Blackpool later and the heavens really opened. Ran in to a doorway to shelter. Wetherspoons Velvet Cushion was just round the corner from my hotel and it got a bit of my trade on both evenings lol. If even you go to Blackpool I'd recommend you go in there. Big place on 3 floors with a sunlounge place on the top. Left Blackpool this morning at 10:25am changed at Manchester Piccadilly smooth change over. Arrived home worn out around 1:15pm. I'll sleep well tonight that's for sure lol.

@Mary_Scope I enjoyed the whole 2 days and ate out for meals except Breakfast in the hotel. Back to fending for myself now lol. Plus point to that I can get up when I want and eat breakfast when I want.

It's no where near as Breezy as Blackpool was lol. I bet it will be rammed tonight for the Annual Firework Festival. I saw that way back in 2010 and it's really spectacular sight. It will make up for the Poor Illuminations this year. I missed seeing those special trams as well the Boat and Steam Train.
