Good morning everyone. Heavy rain last night but bright and sunny this morning.
Day in the garden to start tidying up for the winter.

Good morning all!
A chilly morning here😊Tempted to bring out the dressing gown!
Hope your appointment goes okay @Johnboy412000. Sounds like a productive day @Bluebell21!
Does anybody have any plans for the day? Hope you're all able to stay warm and comfortable.1 -
very rubbish day to say the least, woke up at 8 after 7 hours sleep. Feeling absolutely wiped out at the moment, my inner power reserves are shot to pieces. Sat watching the goggle box for a few hours, but then nodded off. I woke up and just decided to retreat to watching tv in bed on the iPad. Going to attempt an early nights sleep tonight 😴

Good morning. Bit of a mixed start some light rain some sun. God knows we need the rain more than anything. According to experts we would need 7 months of steady rainfall to ease the drought restrictions. We aren't too bad up here in Yorkshire. YW reckon we have 49% of reservoir stocks and no need for hosepipe ban. I remember last year at this time we were down to 36%.
This photo shows Baitings reservoir Near Ripponden as it is now. I went there a few times last spring and summer and it was amazing to be able to walk across that bridge. It's normally submerged. It's an old Packhorse bridge and there was a little village complete with a mill before it was flooded. History lesson over lol.

@Mary_Scope Thanks It went ok. Blood pressure was normal. Blood sugars the results should be back today or tomorrow. If anything concerning the practice will call me in. Weight I have put around 1.5 stones on since last year. I suppose that's to be expected as I gave up work in May and I am no longer running about answering call bells etc on a 12 hour night shift. I got loads of exercise in that job lol. Even now though I get out twice per week day trips and volunteering. I think though I need to get out a bit more even if it's just a walk down to the village and back when it's not raining.

Sorry your parcel hasn't arrived @Amberpearl. That's very frustrating considering you paid extra for fast delivery! Have you looked at the tracking site? Does that still say it will be delivered on the 15th? Royal Mail - Tracking
We have lots of reservoirs around where I live @Johnboy412000 and it's scary to see them when they're so low. I'm glad your appointment went well. Hopefully your blood sugar will come back normal.
I'm watching the rain out of the window and deciding whether to get a blanket for my legs or not. Hope you all enjoy your day!

A very rubbish day to say the least 😤
I didn’t manage to get to sleep until five this morning, ended up waking up at 12pm. I have sat in bed watching The Flash on the iPad alongside nodding off again. I have eaten poorly again today which is something I find hard to stop doing. Getting really fed up, angry and despondent with myself. I am still questioning the validity of me going to Manchester in a few weeks, I have so many conflicting thoughts and emotions about the trip and myself in general.

Good morning all. Cloudy start but so far dry. I'm off out somewhere today not sure where probably Bradford or Halifax first. Back to riding the West Yorkshire buses. Have a good day all and take care.

Woken Up today with Anxiety big time, my impending trip to Manchester two weeks on Saturday has me asking more questions and doubts about myself. I am really now thinking of calling it off. I should be looking forward to it, instead it is filling me with dread. I keep running through all of the variables, worse outcomes, etc., in my head alongside running through each stage of the journey as well.

I complained tk the postman he said he will check the local delivery office
4 hours later with my parcel
It was sitting in the delivery office since Monday!! It had been. Forgotten. Not scanned in
Said short staffed
If I. Hadn't asked the postman to look it might be still there

Good morning all!
Another chilly start today, going to have to buy some porridge in the food shop this weekend I think!
Glad you managed to find it @Amberpearl! Good job you asked the postman.
Hope you have a nice day out @Johnboy412000, where did you end up going?
Try not to beat yourself up for feeling dread instead of excitement about the trip @Rag_793. You don't have to make a final decision about canceling today while the anxiety is at its absolute peak.Hope you're all staying safe and warm😊

Morning Holly, I have noticed my Mental Health over the last few weeks. I have decided to cancel not only the upcoming trip to Manchester but also the trip to Birmingham to watch Deep Purple. I have decided the money needs to go into savings, rather than it being spent needlessly.
