Tea Talk

As an ex Council Gardener & Estate Ranger, Builders Tea is the way for me, chuck the bag in, lob in the water, let it soak, squeeze & shake the bag, then add a dash of milk then consume with an Asbestos Mouth

I always have an Earl Grey when I go to a cafe @Amberpearl. Do you like it with lemon too?
Does having a strong tea give you more motivation for the rest of the work day @Rag_793? I like 'normal' tea quite weak, I couldn't imagine having it like that!

When I worked on the council we could go through five mugs of tea a day 🤣 The country runs on tea. Sadly these days I drink decaf coffee and decaf tea as a way of avoiding a trigger with my Anxiety and Mental Health with Caffeine.

That's an impressive amount of tea @Rag_793! I stick to decaf drinks now too. Do you like the naturally decaf ones like Red Bush or do you go for standard English Breakfast teas?

5 or 6
No sugar must be decaf and skimmed milk
I like lemon tea too

I have previously had Red Bush Tea with Oat Milk. I find it better for my stomach than tea with caffeine, it is something I switched to after having gall stones which is worse than childbirth - which is what a female nurse said to me in hospital.

Ooh that sounds painful. I'm glad you were able to find a tea that was ok for your stomach.
My love of Tick Tock tea started when I was pregnant with my son 16 years ago. A little taster pack was given to me and I've been hooked ever since @Rag_793. I've never had it with milk though, I might try it!

There's been a mention or two of oat milk and such in this thread and it's made me wonder how many of us are still on the old cow juice? And if so where are you on the skimmed to full fat spectrum?
I don't mind oat milk (the texture's not the best for cereal) but almond milk is a big no from me.

Oat drink for me, I gave up cow's milk about 5 years ago, and I can't imagine ever going back. I wish I could say the same about smoking, although £20 a packet seems quite an effective deterrent!

I have semi skimmed milk. (cows)

If I have milk with cereal or for cooking or something, it's always almond milk. I like oat milk too but almond seems to be easier to find.

I don't tend to buy cows milk any more. I use pea milk. I find it creamier than soya and a bit less beany tasting. This is the stuff I get:
Has anyone else tried it?
And sometimes almond, which is okay for cereal. But on the very rare occasion I fancy a hot drink, I'm not a huge fan of it in tea or coffee.

I have only ever drunk rooibos with milk - in the evenings so it doesn't keep me awake! I suspect no milk is the proper way @Rachel_Scope. Usually look for something on offer before I run out. This time it's Tetley with vanilla 😋

I like vanilla @WhatThe but not sure how I feel about it being with tea. Is it just a hint of vanilla?

It's rooibos with vanilla not black tea and it's delicious ☺️

Oh I see @WhatThe! Ok that actually might be quite nice.
