Who Was Your Favourite Sesame Street Character?
My favourite puppet character was Mr Aloysius Snuffleupagus, and for the human contingent, i'm going with music teacher - Bob Johnson.

Ah I wish I'd grown up watching Sesame Street. I love the Muppets, but for some reason we never watched Sesame Street! I'll have to go back and watch some to fill in that part of my childhood π
I know of some of the characters but I wasn't very familiar with Mr Snuffleupagus before your post. A quick google tells me he is an excellent choice!
I do have a soft spot for Elmo I have to say. There was a point a couple of years ago where Elmo asked people how they were feeling on Twitter and lots of adults told him they weren't doing so well. It turned into a whole emotional wellbeing moment. Bizarre but oddly enjoyable to read through!
Is Gus' name related to Mr Snuffleupagus or just a coincidence?

A tie between The Count and The Cookie Monster. Absolutely adored them. They were so funny!

To be honest I was brought up watching stuff like Playschool, Rosie & Jim, Tinytots, 80s Cartoons, Rainbow, Trap Door etc but the one Sesame Street Character that I can associate with is Oscar The Grouch
