Totally understandable that you're angry @MBPJS, that doesn't sound fun! But it's good that you know the next steps and who to talk to about it. Hope you manage to have the restful weekend you need to recover a little!

i’m feeling incredibly stressed and anxious because I’m waiting to hear regarding my prospects of an appeal with a Barrister who is reviewing a brief regarding my case. The eviction court hearing was on October 13 and I thought that by now by the end of this week I would have heard back from this barrister. The appeal date is November 3 so I’m feeling quite under pressure and stress that if I have to find my own solutions, I’m going to be thrown into a state of distress and panic if this Barrister or one of her colleagues is not going to be helping me with my case. I’m trying to keep the Faith within this situation, but I do feel very distressed by the uncertainty and I’m focusing on practising distress tolerance as much as I can and it’s various forms - distraction, tolerating some of the discomfort until I start feeling safer inside my own body, finding nice things to do for myself like taking a bath nice things to do for myself like taking a taking a long sleep in the afternoon to help me prepare for resting over the weekend. Feeling quite overwhelmed and immobilised with keeping on top of household chores as I am not having the Home Help except for during the early part of the week because of how much strain Everything is on me. I may as well learn to do everything slowly and carefully by myself even if it feels much harder because at least I get better at struggling through and managing myself this way because every other human Contact outside of myself is very intensive and like an intervention for me and that’s why I cut down on the Home Help to see how this goes in terms of my health recovery.

I'm sorry you're struggling @MBPJS. It's a very stressful situation so it's not surprising it's taking its toll on you. Are you able to leave some chores until you feel a bit better?
