Is It Too Early To Eat Mince Pies?🎄

Up to each individual when to enjoy them or any seasonal treats.
Personally, only traditions we really have nowadays are around food. When I could eat them, hot cross buns were Easter only. Mince pies for a longer time, 1st Dec until the 31st Jan. The last couple of years I have used Delia's mincemeat recipe still, but low carb'd it, same rule applies though. 🙃

I don’t like mince pies but I’m a big believer in treating ourselves to things we find tasty so if you really like mince pies then I don’t think it’s too early at all and you should eat plenty of them 😊 My appetite still struggles and sometimes I’m still only on one meal a day but when my appetite improves I try to treat myself to things like cake or muffins alongside trying to eat a proper meal

I think once mince pies start appearing in the shops, it’s fair game! Halloween and Christmas treats can coexist for a little while without ruining either season. I do get why some people prefer to enjoy Halloween first, though. Honestly, if something seasonal makes you happy, why wait until November?

Call me old fashioned, but why is anyone who doesn't have small children 'bothered about Halloween? This isn't a dig at anyone, but just what are we supposed to be celebrating? I can understand Christians getting all happy about Christmas, but unless one is a witch, what's the point of Halloween?

Never! I don't like them
@ChrisR777 so I have a small child but she isn't old enough to know what halloween is. I'm incredibly excited about decorating for halloween and will be putting up a giant spider and web on the front of my house! I love it because I love dressing up and watching scary films. I completely understand why people don't celebrate it but I love when people do 👻
