Hi has anyone heard of KANTAR doing a survey on behalf of DWP. CAB job centre and my mental health team have never heard of them. Got a letter through the post saying they where going to do a telephone survey. Letter looks very good and did internet search which told me no more than letter did. They phoned up at 9:30pm and were not impressed that i refused to answer their questions. With so many scams going on and no deep information on them i felt jusified in refusing to answer questions. Maybe be paranoid but complex ptsd and reliving the past plays havoc with "normal" logic. Has anyone else got any further information on this so called KANTAR SURVEYS company.

Hi @chefdave,
I had a quick Google and found them mentioned on this report from the DWP as authors, so it looks like they do work for the DWP.
Having said that - if you're at all worried about things like this, I would just decline. I assume it's optional, and 9.30 is quite late to be phoning people.

Hi @chefdav
9.30pm seems very late to be calling.
To avoid telephone surveys, register your number with the Telephone Preference Service by calling 0345 070 0707.
Which? has 7 questions to ask yourself if you think something is a scam:- 1 Contacted out of the blue?
- 2 Is the deal too good to be true?
- 3 Asked to share personal details?
- 4 Pressurised to respond quickly?
- 5 Are the contact details vague?
- 6 Spelling or grammatical mistakes?
- 7 Are you asked to keep it quiet?
If you have any concerns about communications you receive, please report this to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040.
Best wishes, Alex
