Registered blind

Hi I have recently had my pip assessment after previously being on dla I am registered blind what do you think my chances are for pip

DLA and PIP use different criteria for an award. PIP is based on functionality and the help you need with daily living and mobility.
It is very hard to try and second guess the outcome of any assessment

I, as someone with various hearing and sight difficulties had to get mine looked at again,
Both DLA and PIP are based on the consequences of impairment rather than the impairment itself so in theory registration should make no difference. In practice, for some reason, it does appear to assist.
It's also fair to say that PIP does make it slightly easier to qualify if you have a sensory impairment than DLA did, not least because it rewards the use of aids and appliances whereas DLA did not.
