Hi. I am on pip. Last year i was on the enhanced daily living allowance, and lower mobility allowance. I have severe epilepsy, myoclonic jerks, 2 crushing discs in lower back, and fibromyalgia. Around September last year, i had a bad fit which has caused both my knees to move in and out. I have a full time carer as i can't be left alone. When i wrote to PIP, then sent same form to fill in, and an assessor came out. And now im on lower daily living allowance, and no longer on mobility. I've asked for mandatory reconsideration, that was refused. But I'm really not sure on what to do with regards to an appeal????

Hi @bacheck40, welcome to the community! So sorry to hear about your experience and your lowered award. I'd advise starting with taking a look at our information on DWP appeals and coming back to us with any questions you have. We also have plenty of friendly community members who've had similar experiences who will be happy to help!

    Hi bacheck and welcome

To start the tribunal appeal you need to submit form SSCS1 with basic reasons for your challenge

Have you asked for a copy of the assessment report ?
This will show you what areas you need to challenge

Also have a look at the B&W self test

The B&W site is the best source of information for taking on DWP but you have to be a member to acess the members only guides which I have found gets the results. You can take a pip self test be honest or you are only building false hopes. Good luck.
