I am a mum of a 25 year old daughter whom has Ataxic Cerebral Palsy. Currently awaiting a PIP tribuneral tribunal for her...she has gone from middle rate personal care and high rate mobility to no award on PIP...we started off with an 11 week wait for a tribuneral date and now have been advice it's a 34 week wait...absolutely feeling lost and that I am letting my daughter down.

Hi @traci, and welcome to the community! I'm sorry it's under such circumstances. It must be really frustrating to have to wait so long and to have to fight for what your daughter was entitled to before.

You may like to read our advice on DWP tribunals, and also get involved with our discussions. I'm sure there will be many parents and carers who can relate to how you're feeling, but it does sound like you're doing a great job in standing up in support of your daughter's best interests. All the best, and do keep us updated!

You can request a short notice Hearing in case of a cancellation but you might only be told the date the day before.
