Being a disabled person shouldn’t limit your sex life and the sex toy industry is coming up with more innovative solutions.  The sex toy industry is huge, but there’s no getting away from the fact that most products assume the user is able-bodied.

However, there is also a growing market for products that are easier to use – and some that are specifically designed for those who have difficulty using ‘standard’ toys.

From sex toys to cushions, wedges and swings that provide practical ways of making life easier when you have mobility issues, you can read my article in the Metro about sex aids for disabled people here.

Have you found sex toys are inaccessible? Are there products that you wish you had access to? Do you think that disabled people are excluded from conversations about sex, pleasure and relationships? Tell us your experiences today.

Certainly not, we have feelings and urges like any other couple or relationship. The only problem is the medication some of us take lowers our sex drive or intrest. Plus many may not be as mobile as we once were or adapt or try new different positions or methods to satisfy our partners or ourselves.
