I am 65years of age had to take early retirement at 56years to care for my husband who is now through lots of illness is disabled,i have seven children and 15 grandchildren and another baby due in june,we are all very close and they live not far from us,2 years ago I lost carers allowance before i reached 63years of age and have been struggling finacially now a new payment method is starting this year i already pay a lot for my morgage if interest rates go up i am not sure how we shall manage ,any advice

thankyou for your reply we do have a c.a. but difficult to get to but when i can i will go i try to much asi can as leaving the house is hard specially in winter as my husband is not very mobile and i am not well at the moment so can not push him in his wheelchair0

It certainly sounds like you have a lot on your plate. I'm sorry to hear that you lost your Carers Allowance, did you try appealing? I'd recommend checking out our online benefits calculator to see if there are any other awards you may be eligible for.
