HI It as been over 2 weeks since pip face to face for my daughter,,,Still no Awards letter,When I phoned a recorded voice tells you it can take up to 4 weeks,Now if you had to apply for a mandatory reconsideration within 4 weeks .How could you do that if award could take 4 weeks?, I know some people get there award notice in 2 weeks is it a bad thing if my daughters is taking longer? Any answers wecome

After my review I received a letter (about 2 weeks later) and Just said they had all my documentation and would let me know the outcome. Didn’t give me a time frame.0

Mine was four weeks until the decision. Letter takes ten days to process.
The mandatory would be from the date of the award that you don't have yet because they haven't made it.
I waited a month then asked for the assessment letter, waiting on this.

You should ring and ask for a copy of the assessment report

I got my daughters assessment report back really quick ,I wonder why the award letter is taking longer..0

The report is just a recommendation to the DWP. The decision then has to be made by a DM, the legth of time it take will depend on their work load and the ammount of other evidence they have to read to come to a decision

CR is correct in his answer, but I urge everyone to request a copy of your report, it makes intresting reading and can give you an indecation of what your award may be by looking at the points that have been awarded and comments made by the accessor. But as always you will have to,wait for the official letter from the decision maker with your award details. But if the report looks as if it's not in your favour then you can look at why and reasons to start a MR way before you get award notification.0

There may be a small window before the decision is made to talk to the DM about any concerns you have with the report
