Hi everyone,
I have been diagnosed with fibromiyalgia. I have experienced widespread pain for quite a number of of years so glad that finally got a diagnosis. With the other health problems I have a very poor quality of life. Been on long term sick due to extreme pain and fatigue. So was wondering if anyone can help with advise on benefits. Can I leave my job? I definitely know i won't be able to manage it. What can I apply for?

Hi Bibi and welcome
There are two main benefits
ESA/ UC - this is the benefit for people that are unable to work due to illnes or disability
try the B&W self test

PIP - this is the benefit for people that need help with daily activities or mobility
try the B&W self test

You can apply for PIP even if you work full time
ESA/UC is far more complicated and you should get advice from CAB or similar before leaving your job as you would be considered in some cases to be making yourself unemployed
