Hi. Just saw fb post for this group. Long term disabilities. Waiting for decision on first PIP assessment. Nervous. Would like to become regular user of group. Currently in West Yorkshire.

    In fact your post just caught me - I'm on my way to bed - but I wanted to respond as quickly as I could.
    I am not a benefits specialist myself, but we have plenty here who are and they will respond to your post in due course. You won't be surprised to hear that PIP issues are a large part of our inboxes!
    Currently in West Yorkshire? I spent a lot of my life up there (and my wife is visiting up there even as I write).
    As I always try to point out, you've reached a safe place here and are among friends. You'll find a lot of people ready to talk with you about any problems or issues - or anything really - that are of interest to you. Just bear with us if you can.
