I been waiting 17 month for my appeal witch I won last month 21/3/2018
I still haven't heard from the dwp rung them last week and they said I should of head by this week but iv had nothing 
Do you think I will get my 17 month back pay 
Or would they only pay me from the date of my appeal

    Yes you will get back pay from the start
    If it was a new claim from when you claimed
    if it was a review or a change from DLA, to when your claim stopped

    Yes I was on DLA  for 21 year then on the 21/9/16 they put me on pip and I lost so I  I appealed again they decision it took the court 17 month for me to go there and I won on the 21/2/18
    So am just waiting for letter from them know and see how much they going to pay me

    It usually takes 5-8 weeks for DWP to put a tribunal award into payment.
    Large amounts generally need to be checked and signed off by a senior DM/manager
