Knee replacement agony

Hello 
I'm Clare and I'm new on here but need some help please .My husband had a knee replacement two years ago .All was fine until he fell over ! This was about 5 mths later and damaged the surrounding muscle tissues .since then he is in constant pain ..hes had physio and seen a consultant but nothing has helped .he is on tramadol and paracetamol .he is 60 yrs old also diabetic and overweight at 17.5 stone .I just don't know how to help him anymore and feel its destroying him as a person .it limits his walking and us as a family .can you help with any advice please x

    Hi @claremansell...I had a knee replacement in 2013. Unfortunately a similar incident happened to me. I was advised by my GP to start taking Naproxen...a strong anti inflammatory in 250mg tablet form along with my prescribed Co-codamol as a painkiller. They have definitely helped. I'm not sure if they can be combined with Tramodol but it's worth finding out.
