Hi. I've just joined and wanted to say hello plus need some help. I'm on ESA and have just got a letter in saying they are doing a home visit next week. It says they need to clarify some information but their purpose is not to discuss issues regarding my condition. Has anyone had this before and what does it mean. I'm worried sick. Thanks

Not sure then, maybe @CockneyRebel or @Username_removed can help.
Sorry I can’t suggest anything else, I do hope you get it sorted though0 -
@Kitty1233 Hi does it say it' a compliance officer or from the compliance team0

Welcome! I really hope that you get everything sorted, I've never had a letter like that before. Good luck.0

Hi it says a customer compliance officer will be visiting0

@kitty1233 A matter has arisen and they need to talk to you about it0

@kitty1233 usually these letters are about if you haven't declared anything you should have done or a telephone call or letter from somebody else who has given information about you ...but could also be something and nothing to worry about .0

Have your circumstances changed in any way ?
Has someone moved in or out?
Has the staus of anyone that you are claiming for changed ?
It is a little unusual to have a visit but not unheard of.
As had been said it could be just to check you are getting the right benefits or because of a malicious letter or phone call
If nothing has changed and you haved declared everything that you shouldhave done , then there is nothing much to worry about
If they have requested documents, bank staements etc then just have them ready
