Hello @bunnygirl and welcome to the community. Very glad that you have found us.
Other members may well have suggestions to make here, but you could perhaps start by having a look at the Disability aids and equipment thread. Please give it a look and don't hesitate to get back to us if you need any more information.
Warmest best wishes to you,
Richard -
Hi @bunnygirl, and welcome to the community!
Has your niece's son been through the NHS wheelchair service process? If not, it may be worth speaking to your GP about a referral.
If for any reason this process isn't suitable or you haven't been successful, there are many wheelchair retailers online. This wheelchair buying guide may be useful in helping you decide on the right one. Hope this helps and do keep us updated! -
Hi @bunnygirl
Welcome to the community.
Cerebral palsy (cp) is a very diverse condition that impact on each individual in a way that is specific to them. Many people with cp have specialist seating needs so individual assessment to find the correct wheelchair for them is very important. Incorrect seating may result in complications later on.
I agree with the advice stated above by @PippaScope but if you want to post more about the specific circumstances it might be possible to give more targeted advice. Alternatively, if there are things that are personal and private you may prefer to take advice from the Scope Helpline staff by emailing helpline@scope.org.uk.
Best Wishes

Hi bunny, please see link below for Argos which could be something to tide him over Halfords also used to sell them but not sure if they still do. He really needs to see an occupational therapist who will be able to do an evaluation in order to get one that is suitable for his needs.
