Another operation

Hi I am 40 years old born with mild cerabal plasy.

I had a normal life as a child just not good at sport etc. I trained to be a nursery nurse i did that for 12 years. Until cerabal plasy and aging effected me in my min 20s. I had major operations on my back , left leg and left foot. I had to learn to walk again when i was 30.  I had to change my career to admin as I had to start using walking aids etc. I went on to have further operations and was also told i was dyslexic and had to fight to keep my admin job. 

I struggled to stay at work after my big operations as my body was struggling with mobility and chronic pain. I was tired all the time and also had a accident at work so November 2015 I was ill health retired at 37 for life. It hit me hard not working so I joined weight watchers lost 5 stone and life was getting better . Because of my health I have missed out on so much not having children , still.live with my mam. Relationships have been hard and have broken down due to my health . I do have a partner for 3 years who is great but for his personal reasons we can' live together at the moment. He was made redundant last year .

This week i went to hospital as my hands and arms are sore from the 11 years of using crutches . I have serve Carpol tunnel in both hands and ulna nerve entrapment in both arms . I need surgery again !!! This has knocked me sideways I know not a big operation but the recovery for me will be huge as my hands are my feet and without them how will I walk . I know they will do one at a time but I need them both to walk . This is also not a permanent solution as will come back again as use crutches . I am devastated and worried sick how vunerable I will be during recovery 3-6 months per hand. Mild cp can be differcult as you get older the impact on your body
