Hi everyone I have been disabled since 1998 when I was in a car accident which damaged my spine, after 9 weeks I got back to work under pain killers for 3 years untill going to work one morning I was going down the stairs when I got an electric shock that left me with no feeling from the waist down that made me fall down the stairs and damaged my spine. I had to have spinal surgery and fusion of the spine and I have never been the same since except for pain and can't walk properly and I cannot walk, stand or sit for any length of time. Think that will do for now.

Hello @womble1956 and a very warm welcome to you. Good to have you with us though, of course, I'm sorry to hear of your pain.
I'm going to insert a list here of our forums/categories. Perhaps you could give it a look through and see if there is anything that looks interesting to you. The second item under Practical Support and Information is 'Dealing with chronic pain', where I'm sure you'll find posts you can relate to. Hope this helps?
In the meantime - if you need any guidance using the site, have any questions you want to ask us or anything more you would like to tell us, please don't hesitate.
Warmest best wishes to you,
Richard0 -
