Well, that’s so nice of you! My whole world changed when I fell down the stairs and suffered a spinal cord injury. I was always active and now I’m in a power chair. My husband is my main caregiver although we do get outside help for two hours in the morning and evening.

Ah it's very hard too cope with disability ,especially when we were fit and healthy beforehand .i struggle with being having too have a completely different lifestyle.i used too be very hit and healthy .always working at the gym and socialising .in 2014 I had the breast cancer diagnosis ,such a shock as not really in the family and I was a healthy 41 year old .i had three years of some intense treatment .i thought after it all I would be back too my old life .but no have disabilities related too the cymo .i am in remission though .so I understand how hard it is too adapt and miss the old us

Congrats! Remission, that’s the word you want to hear?
im confused as to why you sought out a disability group. What are the disabilities associated with all that treatment? If you don’t mind my asking. My mother had a double mastectomy. It’s a rough road, I know. But it wasn’t a disability, just cosmetic. -
I've never sought my cancer too be a disability. My cancer was very aggressive and had too too spread so had three years hard treatment and ops .thus left me with perinal nurapathy really bad in both arms and legs .osteoarthritis .and fybromalagia and fatigue. !

Wow, now I understand. What an ordeal. I’m so glad you’re on the other side of it now.
