hi!
After a year of worry and an hour and ten minutes of grilling and embarrassment and tears I was awarded enhanced for both, they gave me a letter there and then and said it was a majority vote
i called DWP who said they received the document for the court. How long before I receive the documents from them so I can try and get a mobility vehicle as the one I’m borrowing is being sold

Also can DWP over rule the tribunal?
-
The DWP have a month to appeal the tribunal decision so the award takes about 5 weeks for any money to be paid.
Congratulations on winning -
Thank you
im just worried they will appeal it now -
Iv never read of them actually doing so so try not to worry.
I don’t understand the logic really, you appeal, go through tribunal but they still make you wait another month of worrying!
Im not sure if you called DWP if they’d advise as to what happens re mobility car. I don’t have one so I’m not sure, call them or mobility might know -
I may have to ring next week as th. at in borrowing has to go back

hi i was reinstated from tribunal took letter from them to garage picked another car they will order your car and the time dwp gets round to it they should take about 3 weeks before it goes to motobility but your car will be ordered -
I’m just going to ring Motability now to see if I can do that as the letter gave the reasons and points awarded. When I went to the garage they said they needed a code? I only won last week?

i won mine 2 weeks ago the garage does all that i only took my tribunal letter picked car and its ordered now just have to wait on dwp putting it on file and mobility will see it but the garage will do everything for you and order your new car -
Have you rung DWP?
-

yes i rang dwp and they said phone back next week it will be highly unlikely they will contess it but my car is ordered the garage took photocopy of my tribunal letter and picked car and the garage sent papers to motobility -
I’ve just rung Motability and they said because DWP haven’t updated their records yet as it’s in the queue to be sorted I cannot get a car
