Hi @meastar1974 and a warm welcome to the community. Thank you for sharing your story and sorry you are going through a hard time at the moment. Is it advice on housing that you are looking for?

Hi @meastar1974
On this letter it does say that you are able to be in contact with Sandwell and Dudley housing support. Is this something you have done? It appears that it is not your medical evidence that has stopped Wolverhampton council from giving support, but the lack of evidence in terms of why you need to be in this council. Are you currently in the area of Wolverhampton?0 -
I gave them letters statements from my gp and care workers stating that i cant get up stairs and ime sleeping on my sofa and i needed an adapted house0

I understand you have given what you believe to be the relevant information and this must be a difficult time for you. Have you contacted the other council that was mentioned in the letter?1

I'm so sorry to hear that @meastar1974, it must be really difficult for you to manage. I wonder if it's worth speaking to somebody at the Shelter helpline? Their number is 0808 800 4444- they're knowledgeable about council housing issues and might be able to help advocate. They have lots of online guidance which could be helpful too!
