Hello @veevee Pleased to meet you welcome.
Sorry you have to apply again for PIP. Many members of the community are experiencing the same. I am sure they will be gladly offer you advice and lots of support. I am one.
Having just been through it all.
May I suggest have a look at our benefit advice on Talk about PIP. Lots of information. Help and support.
Consider talking to CAB. Helps and is useful with form filling. Wealth of knowledge and expertise.
We are a friendly supportive community. Here to help and advise. Plenty of new friends.
Understand the worry about the award time. I would suggest getting some support with this. Who is supporting you.?
Hope that helps.
Ask the community anything some one will know. Ready to listen.
Please take care

Hi @veevee,
Welcome to Scope's online community! It's great to have you on board.
@thespiceman has given lots of useful tips above, which I hope you find helpful. You may also find our page on PIP of particular interest, too.
I've also moved this post into our dedicated PIP, DLA and AA category, so other members of our community can offer advice and support.
I hope this helps. If you have any questions then please do get in touch!Liam -

When looking at a re-assessment the DWP want to start the system at least 12 months before the end date so that a decision can be made before the current award runs out.
Unfortunately what is happening is that claimants are finding that if their award goes down it takes effect from the decision date and not the end date of the previous award.
So yes you will start the process all over again in September 2018

Unfortunately you will need to fill in the form and return it by the date stated. Don't forget to send your evidence with the form as they rarely contact anyone for this. If more time is needed to return the form, ring DWP and they will extend the time and give you an extra 14 days. Good luck.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
