I have recently been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Osteo Arthritis.. It took months to get diagnosed as I was sent to every hospital around Oxford.. then Rheumatologist was shocked to see how severe it had spread through my body.So now I’m off sick from work as it’s all effected my health, white blood cells, Rheumatoid levels shot through the roof..
Im now classed a Disabled.. so iv got OIP forms here.. And wondering how I get bus pass and blue badge, as I can’t walk far, so a friend gives me lifts when able to.. Any advice please.. as I’m completely shocked this has happened to me.. many thanks x

Welcome to the community @Pinkangel
There is information on how to see if youre eligible for a blue badge here and the disabled persons bus pass here.
We have some great information on PIP here and disability rights uk have a guide to making a PIP claim that may be helpful.Scope

Great to meet you, @Pinkangel!
It can feel really overwhelming to be diagnosed with a long-term condition, but you've come to the right place. You'll find others who you can chat to and who can relate here- do get involved, and just let us know if we can be of any further assistance. I hope today's as kind as possible to you! -
