hi all, I had my f2f today, home visit. He was a lovely guy, I’ve read some stories about how they pretend to be friendly but I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt and took him as I found him, he even said things like “if you can’t do this movement don’t force yourself because the government will think you can do it all the time and it won’t work in your favour” “don’t feel bad just think as NI as car insurance, you wouldn’t feel bad taking help from them if you had an accident would you?” etc. Very reassuring man! So I’m staying hopeful that he’s as honest as he was helpful!.. Anyways my question is how do I request my report ASAP? I live in wales and it was done by CAPITA if that makes a difference. Also- anybody in wales recently had award that can give me accurate timeline? He said about 4 weeks Thank you!

Hello, you have heard and read many bad reports of PIP acessments, but reading your post it looks as LG you had a honest accessor, but the proof is in the pudding and you can request your copy to of your acessment with in a week this will allow for it to be written up. Once you have requested your report it takes about 14 days to arrive and on reading it you should be able to work out what your award may, should be but you still have to wait for the official award notification letter which is between four to eight weeks average sometimes longer.0

Hi, thanks for your fast response, do you know who I would call or email to request the report please? And yes he was lovely but I will let you know if his report reflects how he was. Thanks0

Call the PIP helpline number that will be on your DWP correspondence (the general PIP number not the one you call when you first apply for PIP). Some people have said that they have received their assessment reports electronically.0

Okay will try that, thanks for all of your responses!0

Can anyone post the number for me that you ring to request your report? As I only have my original PIP letter inviting me to claim.
I got a text today saying that they’ve got my written report from my assessor. Thank you.1 -
Agreed
If someone could post the number it would be handy, as only one I can find is the one that was used to start the claim process
