PIP appeal is worsening my Parkinson's

I've recently been diagnosed with parkinsons and had my PIP reduced by £140, which don't make any sense to me as my health has worsened. The assessor didn't put half the information I told her about me in the assessment report when I was sent it. Now having a MANDATORY DECISION done and thinking it won't go in my favour as been through this before. Stress and Anxiety are the two worst causes when you have Parkinson's as it makes my condition worse, and that's not mentioning my other medical issues..

Hi @wolfie4, and a warm welcome to the community!
Oh I'm so sorry to hear this, especially that you're having to go through the appeal process whilst coping with your new diagnosis. It can feel really overwhelming, but it sounds as though you've done the right thing by applying for an MR. You may find Scope's information on appealing DWP decisions useful, and you may also like to check the online benefits calculator to see if there's anything else you can claim.
Please do keep us updated and if we can be of any assistance, do let us know. I'm sure other members of the community will be able to empathise too!0 -
Funny thing was I went to check my ESA in my bank account, and it wasn't in. In 30 minutes of talking to them, I had it in my account0
