    Sorry to hear this. I think it’s best to take things one step at a time. Is there any medication/treatment available for UV allergy?

    My heart goes out to you, I understand where you’re coming from. If you haven’t hired a cleaner before then that might be good to try out?

    I think in terms of ‘having a holiday’ you need to focus on you and your wellbeing. If you have a clean house then you could be able to cook - when hiring a cleaner it is best to discuss what you need help with and if you feel comfortable then discuss your allergy  and how it prevents you from doing daily tasks.

    I am not a medical professional but the more you explain about your situation, it seems like you don’t have a phobia of going out in general but only a fear with regards to the consequences of your allergy.

    Have you tried any certain gloves to prevent liquids getting to your skin?

    Looks as though you truly could do with a change of scene.  Dark evenings start today, which may help the u.v. problem. You say you don't like going out, even with a friend taking you to the shops, but it isn't totally impossible.

    You will know best what suits you, but just random ideas might be arranging a night away? At a friend nearby, first, then something adventurous, eg a late evening or night entertainment, theatre, casinos even if you don't bet, or son et lumiere, fireworks, (good timing) .  Even museums have night opening, and some sleepovers  .

    Everything is going in the right direction to help night workers, now you can watch peak tv recorded, go on virtual trips, watch a hover camera take you over the Amazon etc.

    Funnily enough, you are leading the tide of people who cannot take chemical onslaught.  (Or who care about the human race having 12 years to save the planet)

     I'm waiting to listen to a recent you and yours, on radio 4, on people trying to avoid buying plastic.    I heard of people using salt, soda, vinegar, and solid bar old fashioned unscented soap bars to clean, trying to use natural fibres, ideally not polluting cheap cotton, or  quick throwaway clothes.  Flax, wood, jute, sheepwool will reduce toxins and carcinogens in building and furnishings.
