Gaseous distension of colon

Hi it's a long shot when u get told u have gaseous distension of colon is that'd classed as crohn's disease? Or something eles I'm seeing a specialist in November but not 100% sure what to put on the forms i have prove i stayed in hospital for a week when i was really bad with it!.

Sorry to hear you were ill in hospital, though crohns disease can cause a distension of the colon, there are lots of other causes so I wouldn't put any specific disease down unless you have been formally diagnosed with it. Though you can of course explain all your symptoms and how they affected you. I hoep this helps, let us know how you get on.

Hi yeah I'm getting it sorted in the morning to get the points done again I'm just waiting on a referral my gp has sent him a letter I'm allose at the hospital next month to see the consultant only if my old gp did it months ago would of know by now what it is but it does sound like it couod be that'd it's put a lot weight on my body it's that'd bad now0

Hi i have to wait to a letter comes out as i have to claim for the tribunal which I'm getting help on pip said they have sent the letter out last week how's you.0

I have my PIPs assesment in a few days time, I am a COPD sufferer also just out of a 14day stay in Hospital with Acute Appendicitis an hernia. I have to see my specialist tomorrow re: Appendicitis (still in pain as they were not. removed because if my chronic COPD) what do I need to take with me ?0

Tbh when i went for my assessment she just said send them in the post they do lie quite abit it's when u get thw report back shocks the most think it depinds if there in a good mood on the day tbh they don't have a clue at the assemnts0
