I am just waiting to go to tribunal for my ESA! It was stopped at the beginning of June after I had my 'assessment'. My anxiety has been so much worse since I was declared fit for work. I got 0 points all the way through! I thought that last time I was assessed the lying on the reports from the dwp was a little less and I got a few points! This time the assessor said in her report that I bent down and picked stuff off the ground when I couldn't and I told her I couldnt do it. There was so much blatent lying and insulting. Saying things like.... 'applicant did not look malnourished'. I had told them I had trouble eating because of dry mouth, choking frequently! I also have almost continuous yeast infections in my mouth along with liver problems and they cause food to taste and smell wrong causing a lack of appetite. I am guessing they figured that because I am overweight! They misplaced my mandatory reconsideration application for 3 months too which has made everything take so much longer.
I cry a lot about the reports and find it really hard to look at them. They make me feel so bad about myself! Which makes all my illnesses worse. I have considered suicide but I think that would make them happy to close another claim
CAB has been helping me and they have been amazing. So supportive! I am just terrified I will lose at the tribunal!
I suffer from depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia and m.e., breast cancer in remission for 3 years in December after surgery and treatment! Fatty liver disease, poorly controlled asthma, non alcoholic gout that causes crystals to form in my joints, arthritis in my shoulders and knees and hips, going out of the house and having to walk is agony and makes me want to stay home! I also have a few other illnessses!
I look forward to being a part of your discussions and advice. I live in Scotland!
Take care all and be good to yourselves!:-D

Thank you all so much, I will check out the links Steve51!
I am ok now as far as committing suicide goes, I think I am too angry at the government and the dwp etc, being angry can be quite empowering lol! I am excited to be here and will try to visit as often as possible. Thank you again. Amelianna not 51 any more:-D -
Has it been your birthday recently? If so, happy belated birthday!Disability Gamechanger - 2019

Thank you Steve. I will let you know if I can think of anything, but thank you so much for your kind offer! I did wonder if anyone has any idea of how long it takes from when you get the big packet of papers from dwp till you go to tribunal? I imagine it varies but I am hoping it will be before Christmas! Really though I just want to get it over with now, it's too bad that the dwp lost my 1st reconsideration, it was gone for almost 3 months and people here kept telling me that was normal. In the end I phoned them and eventually they called to say that they found it in another department! A week later I got the decision saying No!....... I was hoping they would feel bad that they lost it and overturn the previous decision:-P. Too much wishfull thinking. This week I am having a hard time with getting my 'fit' notes from my really busy but excellent Dr. I had to wait till she got back from a week's holiday then I got a phone appointment with her to sort out the dates I needed covered... when I picked them up and took them home she had put the wrong date on one of them.... The receptionist said it would be sorted and ready by monday but waited till today to go pick it up, but was still not ready! I have had some kind of a virus the past 2 weeks and I am having trouble getting out of the house as I still just don't feel well so I will call first tomorrow before I go out again. The weather is so weird just now, so balmy and the wind is warm! I am heading to bed now so Take care all ,:-D

I’m afraid waiting times for a tribunal are different depending on the backlog in your area. If you are keen to find out the waiting list in your area, then the tribunals service can be contacted via their website: https://courttribunalfinder.service.gov.uk/search/.
