in Start here and say hello!
Hi, I have recently had a life changing accident,I have yet to make a claim for PIP as my DWP advisor has told me not to make inquiries until the middle of November.Will my claim be from the date of my accident or the date the claim was made? Thanks.Chris.

    Welcome to the community. Sorry to hear about your accident. 

    Claims are backdated to the date when you ring up to enquire about an application form. 

    Hope you get sorted with it.

    For information about PIP.  Citizens Advice have a question by question guide to filling in a PIP claim form.
    on their website. Which you might find useful.

    You could also contact your local Bureau should you need further support.
