IB&Income support move over to ESA
so let’s talk about the real issue here
& why the  Government  our back dating  1.6B in underpaid Benefits.
so on IB&IS
Rates of pay was only 104 a week,
Which was basic rate & the disability premium.
i got moved over to ESA in 2014
once moved on to ESA
i got
 Income related-ESA
 Basic rate.
 Support group component.
 Enhanced disability premium.
 Severe disability premium.
Which  totals two 189 a week.
So my question to you is,
what are we missing ?
people don’t like talking about money this is the whole reason they put themselves in this trouble in the 1st place.
Everyone is talking on here about  backdataed payments but not actually talking about the correct rates of PAY.so please feel free to  enlightene everyone.

    Thank you
    for posting,
I was reading we should be getting ESA
Along with additions to your ongoing income support & allowances.
Which allowance are they referring to?
When I was moved over to ESA I had letter
    from DWP saying,
you are  entitled  to & what the (LAW)says (YOUR )allowed to live on,
     The letter stated
    ESA with all
Premiums & in addition to my ongoing income support at the rate of 119 a week,
I never received the income support payment,
    I then contacted my MP,
To ask the DWP where was my ongoing income support payments , which then the Department for work and pensions replied with a £100 award For  maladministration.
Now ,this is in my believe ,that they are payments we have been missing out on,
    Can anyone Concur?

    Hi,

I'm unsure exactly what it is you're asking for advice about. The premiums paid on Contributions based ESA totally depend on circumstances. If you're in the support group on CB ESA then the following will go against being able to claim any of the tops ups for income related.

Living with a partner that works.
    Savings/capital and household income.

To be entitled to the SDP you must have either a daily living award of PIP or DLA mid/high rate care. No one must be claiming carers allowance for looking after you and you must live alone or be classed as living alone.

Some may only be entitled to the one premium (EDP) not everyone will be entitled to the SDP because of the criteria.

Any further questions please do ask.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
