Anyone who gets sausage fingers got any useful tips on using phones, tablets, gripping onto things please? I think I have arthritis is my hands and wrists linked to fibro and this is a daily issue for me. And no I do not want some bread for my sausage fingers lol! ?

Have a look at those innovations catalogues for solutions and ideas.
Also on line. Might be worth looking at.
One other is local OT people of the council do they not have anything you can use.

Hi
If you have an android phone Google assist is an OK aid, not perfect but it will help.
Apple tablets have Siri and there is a microphone on the keypad so you can dictate.

I use a crayon for my laptop and phone. Packets available from Amazon cheap.
And rubber grippers to open jars, bottles, etc. Available online. -
A crayon I never knew that. Yeah I think I need to start thinking of stuff like that thanks.

By crayon I mean stylus.

i get cramp in my fingers and my fingers lock when i grip things. i also have arthritis in my wrists i have a gadget for opening bottles and jars.

hi debbieo49. i got the gadget from avon. i can't remember how much it was but it think it was about 8.99 well worth it!

ah debbie your not alone i too have same problem...recently got a amazon gaget that opens jars and bottles(twist types) called brabantia universal looks like tin opener handles at one end and the other has varying round grip terth...its really good...not nice having sausage fingers lol
