No one can answer that question i'm afraid. It will totally depend on how his conditions affect his ability to carry out daily activities based on the PIP descriptors. It's not about a diagnosis. No one on an internet forum knows how his conditions affect him.The only thing he can do is apply and see what happens. Yes, a face to face assessment is most likely and evidence will be needed to support a claim.Some information in the links provided.

I'd recommend the PIP self test from the benefits and work site, as Poppy suggests. Answer it thinking about what evidence you would provide for each activity where you think points should be scored.
That will help when you come to fill out the form. If you can get help with completing the PIP 2 (eg from a local advice agency), then that is worth doing too.
