I'm on the very lowest benefit on DLA, and have been struggling for the last few years, I am bowel incontinence, and wondered if I could make a claim for this,? Or would I loose my benefit completely?

Hello and welcome, I would seek advice from the CAB or another agency, as you may be made to apply for PIP .

Hi,If you were under 65 on 8th April 2013 then you will eventually be invited to apply for PIP.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Consequently you can ask the DWP to consider an increase of the care component.
If it was for mobility different rules apply unfortunately.

You could apply for Attendance Allowance. Phone Age UK for advice.
