Hi ,I am on contributions based esa and have been for 1 1/2 years , I am also in the support group I also claim pip which is standard rate care , higher rate mobility . My daughter is also my Carer so my question is do I have to move on to universal credit , thankyou

Just to add I do have a working husband so don’t claim any other benefits .

HI,Contributions based ESA is not part of UC and neither is PIP. UC is a means tested benefit, so no you won't.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
